Nick Vujicic at Honolulu 2009

What a privilege to host him at Honolulu 2009. Nick is an outstanding spokesman for Jesus Christ. He calls himself a “visual aid,” but he is much more than that — he is an inspiration. Thank you to the Waterhouse Lecture Series for sponsoring Nick’s participation.

Honolulu 2009: A Word from Pastor Jim Miller

From Pastor Jim Miller, one of our Honolulu 2009 speakers, formerly a pastor in Hawaii and now senior pastor of Glenkirk Presbyterian Church in Glendora, CA:

Another great conference this year.  It reminded me of my back lawn, which I effectively killed off in the heat of the summer.  When it rained heavily the last few weeks, my lawn came back.  HIM always brings my lawn back.

Thank you, Jim! You are a gifted teacher. We love teaming with you.

Sneak peek at this year's Honolulu 2009 tshirts. Thank you @brianchung for your designs!

White shirt shown here will also come in black and in women’s and youth styles. Black shirt previewed here also will come in a charcoal girls junior tee cut. Shirts will be available at Honolulu 2009 conference that starts Thursday, March 12th, at the Hawaii Convention Center. As with all Honolulu conference logo items, purchases fund HIM scholarships. Tee shirts were designed by Brian Chung of The Legacy Movement, a tiny startup run by Hawaii college students in LA who are trying to create fashion with meaning. Portions of their proceed go to humanitarian efforts worldwide. See their other shirts here http://www.thelegacymovement.com/ Brian also designed last year’s Honolulu 2008 shirt.
