Dear Friends,

Thank you!

Thanks to you, your gifts, and your prayers, Hawaiian Islands Ministries (HIM) met its 2010 fiscal year end budget! We thank you, we thank God for helping us end our ministry’s fiscal year responsibly.
 
We feel so blessed and encouraged — and not just by your gifts of financial support, but by your encouragement and friendship. Your coming forward told us that you believe in HIM’s ministry of equipping people, training leaders, and supporting the local church. Your response reaffirmed us.
 
We also feel humbled and grateful. Humbled, because every gift was a reminder of how much HIM depends on our community near and far. Grateful, because every gift brings a wave of thankfulness that we should be so blessed to have you as friends and family. We never take for granted that each gift is a choice and an expression that represents a life, a person, a story — yours.
 
So thank you again. Thank you for standing with us and leaning over to give us a pat on the back and for blessing us.
 
And thank you for your support as we continue forward in our new fiscal year, which began July 1, 2010. You are invaluable. Every gift, prayer and word of encouragement counts in HIM’s unique ministry of gathering and training the Body of Christ.

For anyone wanting to know, grow and flow in the Holy Spirit.
This year’s focus: Hearing & Healing

Sessions will address how to hear God speak, how to speak His word to others, praying for physical & inner healing, sharpening your spiritual discernment, the practical development, use and ministry of prophetic & healing gifts in a church community, and many other topics for living interactively with the Holy Spirit. Practicum time will be included.

Fri., Aug 20, 8:30 am – 9:30 pm
Sat., Aug 21, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Register for only $169 thru 5:00 pm on Aug 9, 2010. $199 at the door.
Includes all meals, starting with Fri breakfast and ending with Sat lunch.

David Crowder stayed until past 11 pm after his Honolulu 2010 concert to sign his autograph to every single person in line! Staying up with him and giving their all were a group of  fantastic youth volunteers who manned The David Crowder Band booth for him. Loved that he then took a picture with them! What a great guy, and we at HIM were so blessed to serve God with him.

Honolulu 2010’s theme shirt comes in unisex, ladies, and children’s sizes. Youth tees in alternate design, other colors, and junior girls style coming soon! Be on the look out for photos which we’ll post here.
Tees will be available at Honolulu 2010, March 4-6, 2010 at the Hawaii Convention Center. $15 each. Logowear sales support scholarship funds.
